Hu Tao's return coincides with both the 3.4 update that brings with it the inclusion of the Sumeru region into the game which will bring new characters, new missions, and the Dendro element on playable units, as well as the annual Lantern Rite Festival that takes place in the game every year to celebrate Lunar New Year. Hu Tao is known for being one of the strongest characters in the game, and so it makes sense that plenty of players want to get their hands on her since it has been so long since their last chance to do so. But the thing that draws fans of Genshin Impactto the character is more than just how rare she is. Plenty of other characters will also be available during the banner, but fans are especially looking forward to the return of Hu Tao since she's not been available for pulls since her initial debut.
